mandu-care Gmbh, a start-up from the University of Hohenheim, is a finalist for the IDF Dairy Innovation Award 2024.
The Stuttgart-based company was the only German and European company to be nominated.
The startup mandu-care GmbH was founded in 2023 from a great invention from the TLB portfolio. The company mandu-care has now been nominated for the international prize, which is awarded by the International Dairy Federation (IDF). With its innovative product, a fermented and prebiotic whey drink, mandu-care GmbH has secured a place among the finalists for the prestigious IDF Dairy Innovation Award 2024. The Stuttgart-based start-up is competing with its whey drink in the "Innovation in New Product Development - Human Nutrition" category. The finalists were selected according to strict criteria by an international jury of dairy scientists.
A total of 153 entries were submitted from 25 countries. The winners will be announced on 18 October 2024 at the IDF World Dairy Summit in Paris.
