The Technologie-Lizenz-Büro der Baden-Württembergischen Hochschulen GmbH (TLB GmbH) has a new managing director: Dr Christian Manthey has been in charge of the technology transfer agency in Karlsruhe since 1 August.
With his expertise in the fields of IP and transfer, Dr Christian Manthey is ideally equipped for the management tasks at TLB GmbH.
Through his work as a management consultant in the field of strategy and process development, he has in-depth knowledge of the conception and implementation of IP and marketing strategies, as well as the subsequent implementation of processes for the marketing of technology-based products and services that require explanation. He also has extensive experience in supporting licensing processes from IP audit through to successful commercialisation. His professional activities also focus on the creation and development of technology-based start-ups.
He holds a PhD in Chemistry and is one of the managing directors of AdvInno GmbH and will hold both positions in parallel.
