A good time to celebrate: TLB turns 25!
TLB GmbH in Karlsruhe is celebrating an anniversary this year: The Technology Licensing Office (TLB) of Baden-Württemberg Universities GmbH has been around for 25 years!
With 25 years as a GmbH, TLB is one of the longest operating and most successful German patent exploitation agencies. Founded in 1998, the Technologie-Lizenz-Büro (TLB) GmbH emerged from a pilot project of the University of Karlsruhe (TH) that dates back to 1987. In the past 25 years, the service institution for a few universities has become a service provider for all universities and colleges in the state.
The anniversary will be celebrated with an event on 12 October in the Kesselhaus in Karlsruhe. Among others, Prof. Dr. Nejila Parspour (University of Stuttgart) and Dr.-Ing. Hans Hubschneider will give two keynote speeches on the topic of "Technology Transfer as a Bridge between Industry and Research".
